An environmental massacre has been taking place for two months in the Gjorica area of ??Bulqiza, on the edge of the Arbri road. Heavy vehicles from a private company are working tirelessly, removing inert materials.

According to videos that have reached the VoxNews editorial office, the vehicles are working during the day, taking gravel. According to information, no company is allowed to operate yesterday, there is no operating permit. The government has canceled all operating permits, granting only a few on the Mati River, due to contracts.

The above videos were taken on March 10, 2025 near the village of Gjoricë in Bulqizë. Two excavators are in the river taking gravel. Next to it are several trucks. After being filled with inert materials, the trucks head towards Peshkopia.

According to the complaint that has reached VoxNews, the erosion is being carried out by a company that is building the Maqellarë - Peshkopi segment. The Gjorica inerts go as far as the vicinity of Peshkopi, while no local or central institution has documented such a massacre. Everything happens on a sunny day, in full view of everyone and without any exploitation or environmental permit.

It seems that the firm has warm arms, whether at the local or central level, even taking the courage to operate openly and on the side of the road.
