The German Chancellor's Office has not provided details on the content of the bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Edi Rama and Chancellor Friedrich Merz in Budva, while it has not expressed a direct position on the protests in Albania.

In response to A2, which requested information on the issues discussed during the meeting and Germany's stance on the protests, a German government spokesperson stated that the Chancellor's words speak for themselves.

"The Chancellor's words speak for themselves. We ask for your understanding, as, as a matter of principle, we do not comment on the content of confidential discussions with other heads of state and government," the government spokesman said.
