Opposes the seizure of accounts, appears before SPAK Ajola Xoxa

Ajola Xoxa, the wife of the mayor of Tirana, appeared today at the doors of SPAK.

The hearing is being held today after Xoxa requested the lifting of the seizure of bank accounts.

The wife of Mayor Erion Veliaj appealed two days ago to the GJKKO against the seizure of bank accounts by SPAK as part of the investigations against her and her husband.

Ajola Xoxa is accused by SPAK of corruption (9 cases), money laundering, and concealment of assets.

In the session held on February 12, the GJKKO changed the security measure for Xoxa from house arrest to an obligation to appear and a ban on leaving the country.
