A serious incident occurred in Tropoja this morning where a 45-year-old man was attacked with a cutting tool by a young man.

The injured man, identified as AM, was sent for treatment to the Gjakova hospital.

 

While the 18-year-old with the initials FS, after police checks, unable to leave, surrendered himself.

The circumstances of the incident and the condition of the injured are not yet known.

Police announcement:

At around 08:40, citizen FS, 18 years old, is suspected of having attacked citizen AM, around 45 years old, with a cutting tool, who was sent for treatment to the Gjakova hospital.

Police services have conducted checks to capture the perpetrator, who, unable to escape, surrendered.

The investigation team is working to clarify the circumstances of the case.
