Brothers Armand and Agron Duka continue to amaze everyone, with connections left and right they manage to "survive" in business.
Both with powerful positions, one MP (Agroni) and the other President of the Albanian Football Federation (Armandi), have managed to multiply their wealth, with honors left or even right. If the current majority favors them, the opposition "closes its eyes".
One of the most flagrant cases was the decision of the Albanian Investment Corporation, which awarded the auction to Armand Duka with AIBA to build the "VOID Tower" tower on the former ATSH building. The firm of the President of the Albanian Football Association will build a full 87 thousand m2, at a cost of a full 110 million euros. In that area, the price per square meter is very high, while the profits of this firm that will be taken over by the private sector will be extraordinary.
According to documents available to VoxNews, the Albanian Development Fund has recently announced the winner of the tender with the object of "intervention in adventure tourism infrastructure, Zip lines, hanging bridges, Via ferrata, adventure parks, etc."
The limit fund of the entire procedure was 168 million lek, while the duration is 18 months. The winner of the tender was the company CURRI with a value of 146 million lek, while there were also lower offers such as that of GPG with a value of 139 million.
But what will happen with this money?!
VoxNews has reviewed the documents of this procedure, which shows that several Zip Lines will be built, such as in Tropoja, Belsh, Berat, Durrës or even in Divjakë. Several tourist Zip Lines will be installed in different destinations. But, what we will analyze in these lines is the Zip Line in Durrës, more precisely in the Lalzi area. Not on the coast but on the hill!
According to the documents, the Zip Line in Lalëz will be built on a hill, near a lake. The entire property is private. In that place is the private business “Kantina Duka”, owned by the Duka brothers. They have a large area of ??vineyards, forests and hills. They even own the lake.
In the ADF tender documents, the project will be done on their property, or more precisely next to the restaurant and "Duka Cantina".
Agolli's documents state that "Green Lake, located in the Lalëz area, south of Shëngjin in Albania, is a small mountain lake surrounded by a rich natural landscape." According to her, this lake is known for its crystal clear waters and peaceful environment, which makes it a favorite destination for visitors seeking rest and relaxation.
“The area is rich in vegetation and offers opportunities for hiking and outdoor activities. The infrastructure around the lake is simple, but it offers opportunities for tourists to reach and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. The roads leading there are mainly paved, but there can also be narrower and unkempt parts, especially in remote areas. The area around the lake is less populated and does not have much urban development, but offers opportunities for hiking and exploring. There are not many developed services such as hotels or restaurants nearby, but the area is ideal for those looking for a more simple and natural experience,” says the ADF.
Normally, there is not much there, but one is enough; "Kantina Duka!" According to the project, the Zip Line will have a total length of 1450 meters. This distance is sufficient to provide an exciting and unforgettable experience for those who will use the installation. The difference in altitude is 137m.
