The recent protest in Tirana also left behind damaged traffic lights, and many people are outraged by these actions. A standard LED head with three lights usually costs around 280–600 euros, not counting the pole, controller, and mounting.

Meanwhile, former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj has publicly claimed that Edi Rama consumes Romanée-Conti wine, citing a value of around $33,000 per bottle. L

If this figure is taken as a reference, approximately 55 to 120 LED traffic light heads could be purchased for the price of just one bottle.

So, while the government can calculate the protest damage bill today, the comparison is that Rama can save 1 bottle of Romanée-Conti and buy dozens of traffic lights.

Damage to public property is punishable. But when the cost is calculated, citizens have the right to question the luxury of power.
