Following conspiracy theories circulating during the day about additional flights from Tel Aviv to Tirana, Tirana International Airport has issued a clarification, announcing that there is no change in the flight schedule with Israel.

According to the airport, flights to and from Tel Aviv are operating according to scheduled schedules, with no increase or reduction in frequencies.

"No additional flights from Tel Aviv to Tirana, operations continue as scheduled," the announcement says.

The airport explains that today's two flights are part of the summer program, which continues until the end of October. During this season, three airlines operate on this route with an average of 22 to 24 flights per week.

Meanwhile, for the 2026–2027 winter season, EL AL airline has planned two flights per week.

The airport also emphasizes that the companies operating on these routes cooperate with tour operators, who have long been bringing tourists to Albania.

For information on flight schedules and status, passengers are asked to consult the official website of Tirana International Airport and the official channels of the airlines.

The reaction comes after conspiracy theories exploded on social media today about an unusual increase in flights from Israel this Friday, while protests against the government are being held in the capital.
