A tragic event occurred on Monday evening in Italy .

A 37-year-old Albanian man was hit by a train in Milan.

The accident occurred on the train tracks between Imbonati and Valeggio streets.

Emergency crews immediately responded to the scene, but there was nothing they could do.

They had to cut off the electricity in order to intervene on the tracks.

According to the police, the Albanian was very close to a moving train because he was walking very close to the tracks.

His identity has not been made public.
