Tragic accident with 4 dead in Fushe Preza, concrete mixer driver in court: I tried to help, but it was impossible, the car burst into flames

Three people arrested after the tragic accident of March 19 in which four young people lost their lives appeared before the Tirana Court today: Enejd Laçi and the three passengers in his vehicle, Erild Laçi, 20 years old, Enrikejd Kurti, 24 years old, and Andi Laçi, 22 years old.

The court imposed the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the concrete mixer driver, Aleksandër Krrashi, and his cousin who helped him hide, while it ordered the appearance of the manager of the 'Hel-Jon' company, Danjel Koxha.

"I did not immediately leave the scene. I tried to help but it was impossible," he told the court.

He stated that he was in the concrete mixer when the collision occurred. 

"I went out and tried to open the door of the victims' car but I couldn't because the vehicle immediately caught fire," he said.

The young man has burn wounds on his face.
