Albanian arrested in Austria with 1.5 kg of cocaine!

As reported by the Piding border police station, an Albanian driver was stopped on the A8 near Siegsdorf in the direction of Salzburg in Austria.

The 19-year-old appeared nervous in front of the officers and is reported to have given contradictory answers to questions.

The police then thoroughly searched his Volkswagen and discovered two hidden packages.

A later investigation revealed that it contained about 1.5 kilograms of cocaine.

Border police temporarily arrested the 19-year-old Albanian.

After consulting with the Traunstein public prosecutor's office, an investigating judge issued an arrest warrant for the suspect for illegal possession and trafficking of a significant amount of narcotics.

The 19-year-old is now in custody at the correctional facility. The Traunstein Criminal Investigation Department is investigating.
