Sali Berisha

Mr. Berisha, you are obviously not at the top of the list of those responsible for what is happening in Albania today, and the solution cannot be sought from you. 

But you are undoubtedly partly responsible for everything that has gone wrong in the past 35 years. Therefore, you must help find a solution. 

You can help by not being an alternative! 

What does this mean? 

You know very well that if the US and the EU had sent different messages at the beginning of the week than those that were issued, the situation would not be what it is today. Which means that the "international factor" is still very important. 

You also know that at the tables of the "internationals" there may be 100 scenarios on how Rama could leave, but only one is not: the one where Rama is replaced by Berisha. 

Rama knows this and uses it as a lifeboat, through rhetoric: "Here, Rama is gone, but who will come? Berisha again?" 

Here, rightly, most Albanians say "NO"! 

● Because the solution is not the dismissal of all directors, nor of all ministers, nor of the entire government and parliament together, but the uprooting of a system of which you are also a part. 

● Because your meadow of power has already dried up. You can fertilize and water it, but it will not sprout again. 

● Because a person can fight with everything, but not with their time. They cannot turn it back, they cannot give a "reply" to either life or their career. 

In short, you should not be the candidate for prime minister of the Democratic Party, the party that could potentially take power in a possible rotation with the Socialists. 

So, do Albania a favor: publicly declare your withdrawal from the ambition to be prime minister.  

Let history determine where you will stand! 

Free politics from "the Berisha bastard", who is waiting behind the door to take over as soon as Rama leaves office. You are truly an inspiration to the Democratic Party, but you are also an obstacle to it taking power. 

Beyond the distortion of the elections through a thousand mechanisms by the government, "Sali Berisha prime minister" is not and should not be an option. 

And this has its electoral cost! 

Give the political opposition a chance to join the civic opposition, which is significantly larger today. 

PS You, supporters of Mr. Berisha, before you start insulting me, read what I wrote once again and then write whatever you want.
