Ermalinda Rama , 26 years old, will sit in the dock, after the Fier Prosecution has taken her as a defendant for the murder of her father, Anesti Rama , at the end of July 2025. The victim's wife has been taken as a defendant, after the investigation revealed that she helped her daughter hide the traces of the crime.

Ermalinda Rama is charged with "Murder due to family relations", while Valbona Rama is accused of the criminal offense of "Acts that hinder the discovery of the truth".

The investigation revealed that on July 23, 2025, in the family home in the village of Frashër, Patos, Ermalinda Rama killed her father, Anesti Rama, by strangling his neck with a wire noose.

After the macabre crime, her mother, Valbona, in order to hide the truth, cleaned up the crime scene and washed the victim's body.

But investigations uncovered the serious crime and led to the arrest of the 26-year-old, who killed her father after he discovered her affair with a married man many years older than her.
