The 3 arrested people appeared before the Tirana court today after the serious accident in which 4 young people lost their lives: Enejd Laçi and the three passengers in his vehicle, Erild Laçi, 20 years old, Enrikejd Kurti, 24 years old, and Andi Laçi, 22 years old.

The security measure of arrest in prison was assigned to the concrete mixer driver Aleksandër Krrashi, who is accused of "Violation of road traffic regulations"

“Driving the vehicle in an irregular manner” and “Leaving the scene of an accident.” The young man was not equipped with the appropriate driving license for a concrete mixer, while he had stopped on the road and had not turned on the ignition.

Valentin Krrashi, the 24-year-old cousin of the driver, who is accused of helping him leave the scene of the accident, was also remanded in custody. He is accused of aiding and abetting the perpetrator.

Meanwhile, the manager of the concrete production company, Danjel Koxha, was released from prison and ordered to appear in court.

The verifications carried out revealed that Koxha had not taken measures to equip the concrete mixer with the necessary documentation for circulation and had employed the concrete mixer driver without having a driving license for this category of vehicles.
