TIRANA – "No, no, not at all, these are the smokestacks of those who want to blow smoke with incense sticks against the work of Albanian diplomats; but very soon the smoke will come out of this work," declared in this exclusive interview for Patronazhisti, the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Europe, Hoxhë Feriti, without anyone asking him, while the interview had not yet begun.

However, he repeated the answer even when asked our probing questions. For more, read the interview.

-Mr. Foreign Affairs Minister, we thank you for this great fortune that has befallen you, to be interviewed by us. What can we say?

- Okay, here it is, the heat has started. However, your beautiful country has changed a lot. I come here from time to time, even though I have been moving from one embassy to another for decades. Even when your system changed, I was abroad on duty and when I came back, they told me this and that was the job. When did the system change, I said, but did you ask me? We said, let's not bother you in vain, they said, since you will go out again. I went out, what could I do?

 -So, overall good?

-Birinxhi. We gathered the Diaspora Summit, we were satisfied. Listen to some beautiful things: We decided to draft the National Diaspora Strategy; for this we will make the relevant action plan; this has been entrusted to the Inter-Institutional Working Group; The Group will make multifaceted efforts; Albanian institutions and our communities abroad will cultivate a structured cooperation; thus, effective mechanisms for the transfer of expertise will be created…

Don't tell me now that you're not confused by what I told you! We'll do wonders if I tell you.

-One of the surprises, isn't it the removal of the Gjadri illegal immigrant camp that Meloni built, after we enter the EU? You said something about this a few days ago, you said 5 years of work...

-Nooo, totally wrong! My statement was distorted by that journalist, who had a divine name, Edi, but unfortunately his last name was Wax, which in New York is what they call wax. He made my interview sound like plasticine, I'm telling you.

I said: The migrant camp built by Mrs. Meloni - may God bless her - can be closed in 50 years, but that clown took away my zero.

Thank goodness our great prime minister stepped in and made the necessary corrections. We also consulted together… What, about this dark spot under the eye? It happens to me sometimes when I consult a lot…

-You're a giant, after all. Now you're going to tell me the truth: Those Albanians from North Macedonia don't pack well, huh?

-This is a provocation! I accepted the interview because you, as a patronage, are our hand, don't overdo it now. I have never said "What about those Albanian idiots over there, what are they saying"! In a closed group chat with colleagues from the Ministry, - who are a bit of a nuisance, but nevertheless capable professionals and dedicated diplomats - I wrote verbatim:

“What about those Albanian idioms there, how are they pronounced?” That is, it was a conversation about the linguistics of Albanian in those areas. That I, since I have lived abroad all my life, and only recently came to the country, need to improve my language, you know?

Don't fall into the trap of those opposition idiots. Remember, I made a beautiful statement a few days ago, full of idioms:

"These are the smokestacks of those who want to blow smoke with smokestacks against the work of Albanian diplomats; but very soon the smoke will come out of this work!"

To clarify this misunderstanding, I even called that idiot from Skopje to refute it. You heard him say to the media: No, it's not true? When the boss himself says it, why are you itching in vain?

-Okay, Xhep Meidan's son, who you have as ambassador there in Skopje, are you going to remove him because he defended Albanian students?

- This has no connection with reality. The communication served to the public is non-existent. It is unfortunate that such claims are fabricated and then amplified by political actors in the country. I express full confidence in the honesty and professionalism of the Foreign Service, which continues to fulfill its duties with dedication, focusing on its work and not being influenced by deliberate noise and smoke. I have evolved…

-Come on, slow down a bit, there's no one else here, we're alone. If you want, we can even remove this part from the interview. Trust me.

-Thank you, brother, I've just become a minister, I haven't really gotten to know Tirana well yet. That Palloshi loves it so much that he takes you to some Tajikistan...

-No worries at all. One last question: What do these EU idiots say?

-It is unfortunate that such claims are fabricated and then amplified by political actors in the country, who create smokescreens after they have smoked who knows what, because they want to throw mud behind a smokescreen... You're recording it, right?
