Politics, said the famous 19th-century Italian veterinarian Giorgio Pachavuri, is one of the best ways to make a fortune or go to prison. Or to make money from prison.

This saying comes to mind when you see that our political system is in a multidimensional and deep crisis. You will say, don't put us in those waters, because we have settled our scores with the kulaks. Okay, but as Habermas said, "Pizza is best eaten warm, while wheat disinfected with granosan can be consumed after it has been washed two or three times," therefore these issues must be discussed with priority and flexibility.

Let us quote here the sentence of the prominent German mathematician Leibniz: "Throw, throw that bucket of water. But know that water, just as it goes down, also goes up!"

Even better would be Albert Einstein's reaction when they told him that they had seen his son making love on the corner with that Pericles' adage: " They call me Albert Einstein! I want a wife with a salary at home!"

This is because politics is the possibility of the art of the impossible to make the possible. You will say, how is it possible?

Better than us, this was illustrated by the philosopher Bertrand Russell in one of his reflections on politics, in the treatise entitled: "How to Feed Purebred Cows by Mathematical Methods ". Here is what he says, in this paragraph that fits perfectly with the Albanian reality:

"What about that rifle on your arm, what did they give it for? To shoot at me, at your brother, like that? Ah, Arif, Arif, there will come a day when you will be ashamed of what you are doing!"

On the other hand, the thesis has recently been put forward that in order to enter a normal democratic environment, Albania will apparently need early elections. But, to quote Karl Popper:

"Wait a second, friends. Are we sure there is grain in the village? Even in the past, so much and so quickly, we are not able to collect it. The city is burning fat like a bear and we don't know if it will be enough until spring...".

Of course, someone would use Socrates' famous quote to counter: "The more I know people, the more I like goat meat."

But we remember Machiavelli: " Not a painter, madam, but a sculptor, one step higher. I make horses with Mexican boots and toads in plaster. So by work I am like an accountant, but my true passion is art. Mama!"

Therefore, it is good that, as we are, we should take them to the village an hour earlier, and mourn the plight of our patriotic peasant.

We believe that at this point, it is time to reread Hannah Arendt. Here is what she said about the political status quo, with an expression that sounds more relevant today than ever: “Wow! When you pull the left mustache, you shoot the right cannon. And when you pull the right mustache, you shoot the center-left cannon in alliance with the Social Democrats!”

But how much do we follow this message? Little, to say the least. That is why we are in this situation, which was described so well in the year 52 AD by the wise Latin philosopher of Stoicism, Seneca: “ Fili matris Selman, tu primum flere debes”, which in Albanian means: “Son of the mother Selman, whom should I weep first”!
