The Tax Administration announces that it has carried out, from 2025 until the end of June this year, the control of 129 wealthy individuals, with a high risk of not declaring their income.
From the checks carried out, the tax authorities say that 770 thousand euros were found undeclared, while investigations continue.
The audit of high-net-worth individuals undertaken within the framework of the Reform Agenda aims to audit 200 individuals by the end of 2026.
Meanwhile, the tax authorities announce that in addition to the 129 individuals who have been checked, investigations are continuing for 144 other individuals, checks initiated throughout this year.
The tax administration says that the audits are also based on third-party data, with the aim of identifying income and paying full obligations.
