The Greek authorities are continuing the investigations to clarify the event of Sunday, where two Albanians were killed inside a bar in Athens. Kreshnik Çerçizaj, 41 years old, died on the spot and Armando Organja died in the hospital after his injuries. They were shot by a masked person who entered the bar in the center of Nea Smyrni square.

According to information from OPEN, the police have carefully watched the footage from the security cameras of the street where the perpetrator enters the bar. After going to the scene, he stayed outside for a very short time to find his target, before entering the cafe and executing the two men in cold blood.

The execution was a "message" between the gangs

The authorities estimate that behind the murder there is a wash of accounts and that the author belongs to a gang that wanted to send a message to its rival by killing the victims. As for the motive, it appears to be drug related. According to the information, the executioner of the two Albanians is inside the country. The main informants are the people who are in prison, as the victim was previously incarcerated in Korydallos prisons.

Execution warrant from prison?

It is not excluded that the order was given from inside a cell, by an Albanian. The authorities estimate that there was also an accomplice, who may have been sitting in the cafe where the murder took place and was informing the gunman.
