Benjamin Netanyahu/ Donald Trump

US President Donald Trump has again expressed his support for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu , just a day before the October 27 parliamentary elections in Israel.

Through a message on the social network Truth Social, Trump called on Israeli citizens to vote for Netanyahu, praising his leadership and the close cooperation between the United States and Israel in confronting Iran.

"When you go to the polls, remember that Bibi was an extraordinary warrior prime minister," Trump wrote, referring to Netanyahu by his familiar nickname.

The American president ended the message with a direct appeal: "Vote for Bibi Netanyahu as prime minister. We must finish the job we started ."

Trump also praised military cooperation between Washington and Tel Aviv, citing operations against Iran known as " Midnight Hammer " and "Epic Fury."

According to the American president, these operations have caused significant damage to Iran's military capabilities and economy.

This is the second time in a week that Trump has publicly expressed support for Netanyahu.

On October 18, he declared that the Israeli prime minister had his full and absolute support, calling him a strong leader during the war and an important strategic partner of the United States.

Israelis are expected to head to the polls on Tuesday, October 27, in the first parliamentary elections since the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, and the ensuing conflicts in Gaza, Lebanon and Iran .
