NAMES/ From drug trafficking to violence against spouses, several arrested in Vlora!

Several people have been arrested and some have been prosecuted for various criminal offenses, including drug trafficking, domestic violence, house arrest violations, and physical conflict in the Vlora region.

Police say that among those arrested are 20-year-old Arkel Jani in Saranda for possession of the narcotic cannabis and Oligert Golikaj, 35, for violence against his wife.

The announcement states that other people have also been referred for criminal prosecution for conflicts with toy weapons, property seizure, and indecent behavior in public.

The police also inform that investigations are ongoing and the materials have been sent to the Prosecutor's Office for further legal action.

Police announcement:

Specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section arrested citizen AJ, 20 years old, resident of Saranda, in flagrante delicto, after during a physical search, the Police services found and seized a quantity of suspected narcotic substance cannabis sativa.

Crime Investigation Specialists of the Vlora Police Commissariat:

arrested citizen DZ, 38 years old, resident of Vlora, after being found by the services of the Special Force "Eagle", outside his apartment, violating the security measure "House arrest", set by the Court, for the criminal offense "Irregular driving of a vehicle";  referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office where criminal proceedings were initiated for citizen DG, 35 years old, resident of Vlora, after yesterday, in a bar in the "28 Nëntori" neighborhood, he threatened citizen KH, 34 years old, with a toy pistol, for weak motives. Also, criminal proceedings were initiated for citizens LM, 51 years old and Xh. I., 31 years old, after they physically clashed with citizen DG. The  Crime Investigation Specialists of the Himara Police Commissariat referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office where criminal proceedings were initiated for the citizens:

PD, 67 years old, after on 16.06.2025, the services of the Himara Police Commissariat carried out verifications regarding several images published on social networks, where this citizen appears on the beach of Borsh, removing several vacationers, claiming that it was his space, and committing shameful acts in their presence;  BP, 75 years old, after citizen MM, 77 years old, reported that citizen BP had occupied a property in the village of Borsh.

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Saranda Police Commissariat arrested citizen OG, 35 years old, resident of the village of Gjashtë, after he exercised violence against his wife, citizen EG. Also, criminal proceedings were initiated against citizen ML, 45 years old, resident of Gjashtë, after it is suspected that he exercised violence against citizen EG and her mother, citizen QG.

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Konispol Police Station referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizen AA, 37 years old, resident of the village of Shala, Konispol, after citizen AA, 34 years old, resident of Konispol, reported that the 37-year-old had punched him.  The materials were referred to the prosecutor's office for further action.
