Franci Canaj arrested after shooting 29-year-old after argument over parking space

Franci Canaj, wanted since April 9 of this year, was arrested today by Tirana police.

"Specialists for the Investigation of Serious Crimes executed the decision of the Tirana Court to detain citizen Franci Canaj, 32 years old, for the criminal offenses of "Intentional serious injury" and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" , the police announced.

We recall that 32-year-old Franci Canaj injured 29-year-old Gerald Hoxha in the leg during a conflict over a parking space.

The Serious Crimes Investigation Specialists executed the decision of the Tirana Court to detain citizen Franci Canaj, 32 years old, for the criminal offenses of "Intentional serious injury" and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition."

He is accused of having wounded citizen GH, 29 years old, in the leg with a firearm on 09.04.2025, during a conflict for weak motives.
