Defendant for tender abuse, the SP MP appears in the GJKKO!

SP MP Plarent Ndreca appeared before the GJKKO in the first court session against him after being taken as a defendant by SPAK.

The socialist lawmaker, who did not win a mandate in the May 11 elections, has been charged with tender abuse during his time as Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior.

Plarent Ndreca,  in collaboration with other Ministry officials, favored Gjon Radovan as the beneficiary of the tender for the reconstruction of 4 police stations.

According to SPAK, Plarent Ndreca and Ministry officials privileged Radovan in all stages of the procurement procedure and in the end declared him the winner and signed a contract with the Association of Economic Operators, Derbi-E shpk, while it did not meet the legal criteria.

As revealed in the SPAK file, Radovan is friends with former Interior Minister Sandër Lleshaj, with whom he has exchanged messages.


It seems that due to acquaintances and connections with the head of the institution, his company has also won tenders from the Ministry of Interior.

The investigation shows that emails were exchanged between Radovan, who was a consultant to the Ministry of Interior for this tender, and the defendant Plarent Ndreca, containing data regarding the premises of the Vlora, Pogradec and Mirditë police stations, which were to be reconstructed.
