The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has denounced what he considers a "criminal act" against a protester at today's protest.

According to Berisha, the student was shot in the eye by police officers.

Through a post on social media, Berisha published images of the injured young man, describing the incident as "a serious state crime" and raising strong accusations against the authorities.
