The State Police has reacted after acts of violence during today's protest in Tirana, stating that its employees have faced attacks that endanger their lives and health, as well as the safety of citizens.

In an official announcement, the police call on protesters to distance themselves from masked and violent individuals who attack officers and institutions, as well as damage public and private property.

Citizens are also asked to avoid areas where acts of violence are taking place.

The police emphasize that peaceful protest is a right guaranteed by law, while attacks on officers and damage to property are punishable. According to the announcement, any action that endangers the lives of police officers and citizens will be dealt with in accordance with the law.

The blue uniforms indicate that they continue to be on the ground to guarantee public order and safety.
