36-year-old Turkish woman, convicted of terrorism, arrested in Saranda

The Border Police have arrested in Saranda a Turkish citizen who is internationally wanted, with the aim of extraditing her to Turkey.

This is citizen Julide Yazici, who was sentenced by the Istanbul Serious Crimes Court to 4 years and 2 months in prison for the criminal offenses of "Providing logistical assistance to a terrorist organization" and "Participation in terrorist groups".

Also, the Saranda Border Police arrested a citizen for the criminal offense of "Aid for illegal border crossing", while four other people were processed at large for illegal border crossing and possession of sporting weapons.

Meanwhile, in continuation of cooperation with international partners, Interpol Tirana finalized two extraditions to Albania.

Citizen Kostandino Tahiri, sentenced by the Tirana Judicial District Court to 3 years in prison for the criminal offense of "Intentional serious injury", was extradited from the United Kingdom.

Meanwhile, citizen Andrea Biti was extradited from Athens, sentenced by the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Fier to 8 months in prison for the criminal offense of "Theft".
