Will Durim Bami be extradited? The 45-year-old is still banned in Dubai!
Patience Bami

Durim Bami continues to remain arrested in Dubai, the procedures for his extradition to Albania have not yet started.

The 45-year-old has been arrested twice this year, at the expense of the Albanian authorities, but the lack of an extradition agreement between Albania and the United Arab Emirates has made it impossible for him to face justice in Albania.

It remains to be seen whether Bami will come to Albania through deportation, a method that has previously been used for the likes of Plaurent Dervishaj and Julian Meçe .

Meanwhile, Durim Bami has turned to the authorities of the United Arab Emirates with a request not to be extradited, claiming that his life is in danger if he returns to Albania.
