The Supreme Court upholds the life sentence of the Greek citizen Eftimiu Eftimiu, accused of murdering Devi Kasmi.

The former Greek special forces officer had submitted an appeal to the Supreme Court after in March 2021, the Appeal of the Special Court found him guilty of the murder of Devi Kasmi.

The execution took place in January 2018 in Tirana.

The former commando of the Greek Military Forces has insisted that he came to Albania for hunting, but the investigation of former serious crimes identifies him as the executioner of Devi Kasmi, a crime that took place in Tirana while the citizen Aurel Hoxallari is accused as the organizer.
