Panic on the field, Rey Manaj loses consciousness (Video)

Rey Manaj caused panic in the Turkish championship match between Sivasspor and Goztepe. The Albanian striker lost consciousness on the field in the 3rd minute after a hard head-on collision with an opposing defender.

After a cross from the left, Manaj headed the ball, while in the duel one of the Goztepe defenders hit him in the head.

As a result, the Albanian lost consciousness on the field and was urgently transported to the hospital. Fortunately, Manaj was taken to the ambulance and is conscious.

The Sivasspor club has also reacted to this, confirming that Manaj is currently conscious.

"Our footballer Rei Manaj lost consciousness as a result of a collision with an opposing player in the 3rd minute of the match against Göztepe. After the first intervention of our medical team on the field, he was taken by ambulance and is now conscious. After completing the necessary tests, detailed information about Rei Manaj's health condition will be shared with the public. We wish our footballer a speedy recovery," the Turkish club said in a statement.

After medical tests, more information is expected to be learned about the Albanian footballer's condition.
