Lara Colturi achieved another World Cup success, climbing the podium in Are, Sweden.
The Albanian skier was exceptional in the giant slalom competition, finishing third behind Italian Federica Brignone and New Zealander Alice Robinson, the best in this discipline.
"It wasn't an easy day. On the second descent, the temperatures make the track more difficult. I tried to ski as lightly as possible and I succeeded," she said.
The 18-year-old was consistent in both races. For Colturi, it was her third podium of the season after second places in Austria and Slovenia.
The result achieved this Saturday moves Lara Colturi to fourth place in the giant slalom classification in this World Cup season. On Sunday it will be the turn of the slalom competition also in Sweden.
