Saudi Arabia has unveiled stadium concepts in its bid to host the 2034 World Cup. It is the Kingdom's main target after FIFA declared that only bids from Asia and Oceania.

This seems to be the next step of the country that seeks to diversify its source of income, targeting tourism to not depend only on oil.

Although it takes 10 years until the next World Cup, the big investments have already started. Saudi clubs have made staggering acquisitions in recent years, with Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema and many other big names in football standing out. But the icing on the cake would be the organization of the World Cup.

Among the presented stadiums, the NEOM project stands out, which is planned to be built a few hundred meters above sea level. Six stadiums are planned to be built in the capital Riyadh, among them the "King Salman" stadium, with a capacity of over 92,000 seats, which is expected to be completed in 2029.

Other stadiums are "King Fahad" with a capacity of 70,000 seats, "Prince Mohammed Bin Salman", and several others. Six more stadiums are planned to be built in Jeddah.

"NEOM will be an experience like no other before", says the presented document. "Wrapped within the infrastructure of the city and designed to be one of the most prominent constructions in the world."
