37-year-old Maridon Dhuli, who suffered severe burns yesterday evening after the vehicle he was traveling in caught fire on the Kardhiq - Delvinë axis, has passed away at the Trauma Hospital.

The incident occurred near Skërfica, where a Volkswagen Touran vehicle caught fire under unclear circumstances.

Passersby provided first aid and the 37-year-old was transported by ambulance to Saranda Hospital and then to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana, but he did not survive.
