After the resignation of the democratic deputy Alfred Rushaj, businessman Petrit Doda is expected to take his place in the Assembly as the candidate with the most votes in the non-winning list of the District of Tirana, even though he was ranked 32nd on the list.
Regarding these developments, there was a reaction from the former chairman of Bindje Democratica, Astrit Patozi.
Through a post on social networks, Patozi emphasizes that receiving the mandate from Petrit Dode would not have been possible without the contribution of the Democratic Persuasion, who demanded the real opening of the lists of deputies.
Patozi further writes that if he has a problem thanking the Democratic Persuasion for this, then he should thank the former MP Myslim Murrizi, since he was also a collaborator in the initiative of the real opening of the lists.
"AT LEAST THANK MYSLIM MURRIZIN
I do not know this deputy who will replace Alfred Rushaj in the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party, but I found out that he was number 32 on the list of Luli and Doktor in the April 25 elections.
It's not like how much he knows, but this achievement would have been impossible without the contribution of the Democratic Persuasion, which overthrew Rama-Basha's candidate and really opened the lists of deputies, after sending the case to the Constitutional Court. Which means that it was his turn to enter the Assembly, after all MPs from the pulpit and the anti-pulpit taken together had submitted their mandate, if the Electoral Code was in force before the elections.
And if it may be a little difficult for us to pronounce because it could be considered a blot on his biography, at least he should thank Myslim Murriz, whom he has within the party, because with him we were co-authors in the initiative of the real opening of lists" , writes Patozi.
