The President of the DP Sali Berisha held an open conversation this afternoon with the parents of the children of the private kindergarten "Zubeyde Hanim", a kindergarten with 24 years of experience in Albania, which was closed on September 23 by decision of the Government.
During the conversation, Berisha said that this is a decision ordered by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as he considered Rama to be a crazy, abnormal, insolent and characterless man.
According to Berisha, Albanians cannot be treated in this way for the chair of Rama, which he considered as a vassal of the Turkish president.
"The closure of the kindergarten, I have considered and consider one of the most serious events that can happen to an independent, sovereign country. Nothing forces a government more than a child, nothing forces a parent more than a child, nothing you don't force more than the child. To decide to close a kindergarten with 250 children is a little like saying that you are 250 times crazy, amoral, insolent, without character. All those who raise children have children, little girls, to follow them every day in the kindergarten they know what spiritual connection exists between the child, friends, companions, guardians of their own kindergarten.
There is no normal person who can imagine closing a garden without any reason, by order from outside. This is done only by a government that is completely detached from the interests of children in the first place, the dreams of children, from the interests of parents, society, who does everything for his chair, who does not live in a reality that has no more notion elementary about what the sovereignty of the country means. In the specific case, for this land, place, for 500 years in a row, the decisions were made in Istanbul, but they were separated from that time. Decisions must be made in Tirana. This kindergarten story is the most embarrassing story. The empire used to close schools because Albanian was taught in them, but we are not here to make history with the empire, because we and Turkey have worked and are working to write pages of cooperation and friendship.
He has internal political problems and orders his vassal in Tirana to close the garden. And this is the anti parent that does that. What will I tell these little ones, that tomorrow you will not go to kindergarten because the government has closed it, how can this happen. This is the most shameful story in Europe, it cannot be described. The Turkish Foreign Minister, who was once a prominent human rights man, comes out and thanks him. Every human, constitutional, legal law, rule, principle has been violated here. But also in the relations between the two countries.
I have worked for friendly relations between Albania and Turkey, but I tell the Turkish president, he knows my word well, that in this way Turkish interests in this country end. Albanians cannot be treated in this way for the chair of Rama. What does this mean. What danger is there in an exemplary kindergarten with 250 children. What interests are here. You can say any word to him, but there is nothing Albanian about it," said Berisha.
