The Democratic Party announced today the closing of the application deadline and formalized 7 candidacies for the primaries for the Municipality of Tirana for the upcoming local elections held on May 14.

Among the 7 names, there was that of the actor Julian Deda, but the latter seems to have been completely unaware of his name as a candidate in the primary. Deda made this known to himself through a post on social networks and apparently he was proposed by the base.

Deda says that he found out his name as a candidate in the Tirana primaries only a few moments ago while he was driving in the capital.

"Here, I received the news that I am a candidate in the PD primaries, for Tirana, in the midst of traffic, dust and noise, which from now on we will call erionization, which has been done to Tirana in these years. I
thank you from the bottom of my heart every democrat, in every branch of Tirana, who has proposed my name in these very important primaries. Now in DP, not only every vote is read, but every proposal of its members is heard.
