The deputy of the Democratic Party and at the same time the chairman of the National Council, Edi Paloka has refused to be part of the "Primaries" for the Municipality of Tirana where the candidate for the next local elections held on May 14 will be chosen.

This was announced by Paloka himself through a post on social networks, as he thanked the democrats who proposed his name.

"I thank all those democrats who have proposed me as a candidate for Tirana. I myself will not participate in the primaries, but I assure you that I will be by the side of the candidate who will be the winner, just as if I were myself." writes Paloka.
