"I would pray at the Church of Laçi", surprises Lorenc
Lorenc Vangjeli/ Sali Berisha

Analyst, Lorenc Vangjeli, commented on the removal of the immunity of Sali Berisha, after SPAK today asked the Assembly to grant authorization for the arrest/removal of the freedom of the deputy, Sali Berisha, related to the accusations of the privatization of the former sports club "Partizani".

The former prime minister was given a security precaution "Compulsion to appear", but Sali Berisha refused to go even once alone before the black squads, sending his lawyers to represent him.

But today, after SPAK's request, Berisha said that he is ready to respect any decision that the Parliament will take.

Regarding the latest developments, analyst Lorenc Vangjeli said in the show "Top Story" that Sali Berisha's friends behaved like enemies, gave him the wrong advice about the steps to follow after the charges.

"What we didn't even imagine until yesterday is happening today. This is a competition that should make us realize that things have changed. I have the impression that we can get to the truth even by explaining one of the paradoxes that is happening now. The friends and associates of Sali Berisha, who is usually not a person who takes advice, but even if they spoke to him, they gave him the most wrong possible advice. They have been treated as his worst enemies throughout this story. They told him the wrong path he should take in this confrontation with the law. Paradoxically, the person most interested in becoming Berisha's lawyer is his political opponent, Edi Rama," said the analyst.

Further, Vangjeli said that if he could as an individual, he would go and pray to the church of Laçi, so that the former leader of Albania would be declared innocent.

“If I could as an individual, I would go to the church of Laçi to pray for him to win this battle with the accusation and justice. I would pray in the hope that the former prime minister of my country will be found innocent", said Lorenc Vangjeli.
