"House arrest", Berisha: I will respect the decision! Civil
Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha says that he will respect the parliament's decision to remove his immunity, thus paving the way for the implementation of the new measure given by SPAK, "house arrest".

From the door of the Presidency of the Assembly, Berisha, however, added that SPAK's decision was based on a previous anti-constitutional decision, while calling it as a whole a political move to annihilate the opposition.

In the following hours, the Council of Mandates and Immunity will decide whether or not to remove the immunity of MP Sali Berisha.

"A group of deputies allowed themselves the exclusion for two months, de facto removal of the mandate and the ban of any activity. This is the final stage of the annihilation of the opposition. The determination is complete. They are all in unison that this decision is based on a previous anti-constitutional and anti-legal decision of "SKAP" and the judge dismissed by Sali Berisha on February 8, 1996. Having said that, as I pointed out two hours ago, in 2012 I am personally engaged in a list for the abrogation of the article of the constitution which gives immunity to the actions of the judiciary for the deputies. I have never changed my decision that my effort was right.

Whatever the decision of the parliament will be respected by me. We continue with civil disobedience. "No action of the opposition has anything to do with this," said Berisha.
