Six people were handcuffed by the police during an action in France, among them four Albanian citizens, accused of being the organizers of an operation for the cultivation of cannabis.
French police say that inside the apartment in the village of Morette, in Isère, a full 4,000 cannabis roots were found, which would give a yield of 1,100 kilograms.
The narcotic plants were grown with UV lamps, inside a warehouse with an area of 700 m2.
Four Albanians and two Frenchmen have been arrested in connection with the discovery of a large quantity of drugs. Two of the Albanians had been locked inside the warehouse for two months and were forbidden to leave. They were engaged in the cultivation of narcotic plants.
If it were to be released on the market, according to the French authorities, the drug would bring a profit of 10-15 million euros.
