A mayor in Colombia was embarrassed after his pants fell down while giving a speech while he had lost five pounds.

Jorge Elías Chams was filmed shaking his head and raising his eyebrows after the gaffe as he stood behind the lectern.

The " incident " happened while the mayor was speaking at the 109th anniversary of a local educational institution on Monday.

Several men in religious garb sitting behind him could be seen laughing. Meanwhile, the woman standing next to him and he himself were seen trying to pull up his pants over his white underwear.
