28-year-old Erion Vishkulli, who was injured in his left eye yesterday during the violent protest, underwent surgery yesterday evening at the Trauma Hospital.

The news was announced by the Ministry of Health, which announced that an extended consultation will be held today with a joint team of specialists from the University Trauma Hospital and the QSUT, to determine the continuation of treatment.

Sources for Report TV say that the possibility that the young man will be sent for specialized treatment abroad is not ruled out. 

Meanwhile, sources from the white shirts added that there is a lot of work ahead to recover his condition and currently it cannot be said whether he has lost sight in one eye, because he must wait 48 hours from the first intervention.
