"Kosovo not only contributes, but is ready to be part of NATO." With this clear message, the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has emphasized the country's commitment and readiness to become part of the most powerful military alliance in the world.
During her visit to the military exercise "Defender Europe '25", which is taking place in Kosovo under the organization of the US Army in Europe and with the participation of dozens of NATO allied countries, Osmani expressed pride in the role of the Kosovo Security Force in this international exercise.
"Hand in hand with the armed forces of the United States of America and other NATO allies, our country is writing a new chapter of international military cooperation," Osmani emphasized in a post on Facebook.
The President emphasized that Kosovo is the host of one of the largest military exercises of this year and that this is proof of its commitment to peace and security.
"Just two days ago, in the USA, we discussed the common vision for Europe's defense. Today, this vision is being implemented on the ground, on our land," she said.
Vjosa Osmani's post:
Today, in my capacity as Supreme Commander of the Kosovo Security Force, I visited Defender Europe '25 – this year's largest exercise of US Army Europe, where Kosovo not only participates, but also has the honor of being a host. Hand in hand with the armed forces of the United States of America and other NATO allies, our country is writing a new chapter of international military cooperation.
Just two days ago, in the United States, we discussed the common vision for Europe's defense. Today, this vision is being implemented on the ground, on our soil, through Defender Europe '25 – an exercise of extraordinary proportions that demonstrates the commitment to peace and security. About 1000 members of the KSF are directly engaged – professionals equal to allies from the most powerful countries in the world. This is a clear message: Kosovo not only contributes, but is ready to be part of NATO.
