The constitution of the Kosovo Assembly has failed for the 23rd time.

There was no quorum for decision-making on the secret ballot committee this Thursday either.

The Democratic Party of Kosovo continues to demand the change of the name of the Speaker of Parliament in order to unblock the Assembly.

The process has remained blocked due to the lack of sufficient votes to elect the Speaker of the Assembly. The Vetëvendosje Movement, which emerged as the leading force in the elections and is in coalition with Guxo and Alternativa, is failing to secure the absolute majority of 61 votes to appoint Albulena Haxhiu to the post of Speaker of the Parliament.
