Forecast: Christmas with sunshine and spring temperatures

This year we will have a spring Christmas with maximum temperatures of up to 19 degrees Celsius.

The news was announced by weather forecaster Lajda Porja from "MeteoAlb".

Porja emphasized that the Northeast and Southeast areas will be under the influence of clear weather this weekend, which coincides with Christmas.

Air temperatures will gradually increase during the end of the week, making for a sunny Christmas.

Lajda Porja:  Today, in fact, there have been clouds since the early hours of the morning, however these clouds will gradually disperse, focusing on the mountainous areas, giving way to the sun in most of the country, however also in mountainous areas, although there will be somewhat denser and more frequent clouds, it is not expected to rain in the territory.

Air temperatures have increased in the early hours of the morning. The morning is a little warmer, although it is more cloudy.

Highs are expected to change very slightly. In many areas 0.5 making the maximums to be almost as we have seen all week at 16 or 17 degrees. Meanwhile, we can say that the weekend that coincides with Christmas is predicted to have a non-white Christmas this year, so no snowfall is expected, but there will be a sunny Christmas.

Saturday will be cloudy in the early hours of the morning, but the second part of the day and mainly Sunday will be sunny in almost the entire Albanian territory.

Even for all those who have booked and are celebrating in the North-East, South-East areas with the hope of having snow, it is predicted that these areas will also be under the influence of clear weather and light clouds.

On the weekend, there will be a gradual increase in temperatures, making the mountainous areas be 3, 4 degrees, so it is not that we expect values ​​of 0 or -1. Maximums are expected to reach 18 or 19 degrees, it will look like a spring Christmas.
