Powerful explosion in a block of flats in The Hague, several victims and injured

Two people have been injured after a powerful explosion caused the collapse of several buildings in The Hague. The serious incident was recorded at around 06:15 in the morning.

As a result of the explosion, at least 20 people are suspected to have been trapped, while three people, including a child, have been taken to hospital for medical attention. Meanwhile, according to authorities, at least five houses were destroyed in the incident.

Meanwhile, teams continue searching under the ruins of the destroyed building for people who may be there.

Police are searching for a car that sped away from the scene immediately after the explosion.
