Rama reacts to the Iranian attack on Turkey: Turkey is a brotherly country and a strategic partner of Albania

The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, reacted this Monday on the social network X regarding the ballistic missile attack on Turkey, strongly condemning the actions of the Iranian regime.

In his reaction, Rama describes this attack as deeply worrying and a serious threat to regional stability and international security. The head of government emphasizes that Turkey is a brotherly country, a strategic partner of Albania and an important ally in NATO.

Below is Prime Minister Rama's full response:

"Albania condemns in the strongest terms the Iranian regime's ballistic missile attack against Turkey. The fact that this is the second such attack in recent days is deeply concerning and further emphasizes the aggressive and destabilizing nature of these actions."

Turkey is a brotherly country, a strategic partner of Albania, and a valued NATO ally. The Iranian regime's efforts to spread tension and instability through continued attacks on its neighbors are extremely dangerous.

Such actions risk further escalating the situation and pose a serious threat to regional and international security.

"Albania welcomes NATO's swift response in defense of the Alliance's territory, airspace, and citizens. Albania stands firmly with Turkey and all Allies in defense of the security and unity of our Alliance."
