A conflict started for weak motives between neighbors in the Kombinat area of Tirana has escalated to the use of firearms, risking turning into a tragedy.
The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon, when a white vehicle, in which several people were traveling, stopped near the apartment of the author, Oltjon Asllani.
The 28-year-old approached them and scolded them for smoking cigarettes near his house and for passing on that street.
The exchange of words led to a physical conflict between the young men, which required the intervention of other people to quell. But just a few minutes later, Asllani returned armed with a Kalashnikov and fired several shots at the white car.
Fortunately, there were no injuries from the shooting, but only material damage.
Police arrested, as part of the operation codenamed "Quick Response," the suspected perpetrator and his accomplice, SB, 30, who is suspected of driving the vehicle from which the attack was carried out.
