Other details have been published by Greek media regarding the serious incident in Volos where an Albanian man stabbed his wife, also Albanian, to death.

According to Greek media reports, it was the girl who called the emergency services asking for help after her father attacked her mother with a knife in their apartment on Constanta Street.

Police officers who went to the scene found the woman's lifeless body at the entrance to the building with wounds to her neck and ribs.

Next to her were her three children, two daughters, 16 and 6 years old, and a 13-year-old son.

She also had an 18-year-old daughter.

According to their testimony, the parents argued vigorously throughout the morning.

When the 36-year-old victim tried to leave the house, her husband chased her and stabbed her several times.

According to Greek media reports, the author has a criminal past and mental health problems.

In June of this year, he was taken to the Volos psychiatric hospital for examination after attempting to commit suicide. Doctors said he needed hospitalization and forced him to stay in the hospital.

In 2019, he was arrested twice for possession of narcotics.

He was previously sentenced to a year in prison for perjury in 2018. He was also arrested in 2013 for forgery and illegal entry into Greece.

The murder has shocked the Volos community, as the search for the Albanian, who fled after the murder, continues.
