For 27 days, miners at the copper mine in Spaç have been protesting.

Even though almost four weeks have passed since the start of the strike, the company has not taken the employees' demands into consideration and has not offered any solutions to the employees.

However, yesterday the situation became even more tense, as the company dismissed 40 more employees, with the argument that they were absent from work due to the protest. SP MP Erion Braçe also reacted to this issue.
