The building where two call centers were discovered

New details have emerged regarding the police operation against three call centers in Tirana.

So far, it is learned that 7 people have been arrested in prison, while two are under a travel ban and are required to report.

According to investigative sources, the operation was spread across several call center-equipped facilities, spread across different areas of the capital. Two of them were located in a business complex on Kavaja Street in Tirana, while another was located near the Zoo.

During the controls carried out by the authorities, a significant amount of money, around 1 million euros in cash, was seized, suspected to be related to illegal activity.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the scheme targeted foreign nationals, including citizens from Austria, Italy, Spain, Greece, Canada and the United States.

According to suspicions, they were deceived through various telephone methods used by call center operators.
