During the meeting with tourism operators in Vlora, Prime Minister Edi Rama also spoke about the investment of US President Donald Trump's daughter and son-in-law on the island of Sazan.

Rama said that negotiations have not yet been concluded and that the Albanian state will be part of the company that will invest and administer the project on the island.

He announced that the construction project has changed and that less construction is planned.

"Sazani belongs to Albania and will remain Albania's. We still have not closed the negotiations for Sazani today."

Albania will be part of the company that will invest and administer the island. And at this point, Albanians are represented by the state. It is not about closing the island.

It will not be a closed resort, it will not become a privileged reserve. The Sazan project has changed the process. It will have very few buildings and will have an important cultural, artistic profile.

"It will be one of the most beautiful projects developed in the Mediterranean. This will only bring good things for Vlora," said Rama.
