An elderly woman has miraculously escaped in Korça after her neighbor complained that her ceiling was leaking.

When the neighbors tried to contact the elderly woman, they realized something was wrong and called the police.

It was the firefighters who made it possible to open the door and found the elderly woman lying in the shower, unable to move as she suffered from bone disease and sclerosis.

Neighbors say that the elderly woman had lost contact with them for two days, while the wet ceiling was the "signaler".

The citizen from Korça lived alone.

The elderly woman is in the Korça regional hospital with injuries, but sources from the hospital indicate that her life is out of danger.
